Time to choose a delicious Sauce & Glaze to complement your Ham. According to the National Retail Federation, 87% of those Americans who celebrate Easter will serve up a ham at the table. But Ham is not just a Holiday treat but can be cooked, grilled or smoked any time of the year.

There are many types of hams on the market these days. We are spoiled for choice whether to buy a ready smoked cooked ham, buy it pre-sliced or indeed arrange to enjoy cooking the ham ourselves.

However, to enhance that delicious Ham, it must be complemented with a tantalizing glaze or sauce. This will elevate your ham to another level and just add that special touch to your meal.

Here is a selection of glazes/sauces from a simple Pineapple Sauce to a decadent Bourbon Honey glaze. Choose a quick and simple sauce to serve your guests or if you have the time it’s worth a little effort to produce that special sauce that will give your Ham that wow factor.

About the Author:

Hi, I am a writer based outside Cape Town in South Africa. I come from a Barbecue obsessed family. With the great weather we have in Cape Town ( most of the year) we enjoy Cooking Outside in our Backyard as often as possible. South African's love to "Braai" anything! The trick to continuing to enjoy Barbecuing is loving the old favorites but experimenting with new foods and methods often.
